Scriptures
Acts 2:42-47
They devoted themselves to the
apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to
prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs
were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything
in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had
need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They
broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising
God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their
number daily those who were being saved.
Romans 12:1
Therefore I urge you, in view of God’s mercy, to present
your bodies as a living sacrifice…
Romans 15:5-8;
13
May the God who gives endurance and
encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ
Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ
accepted you, in order to bring praise to God… May the God of hope fill you with all
joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the
power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 12:9
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is
good.
Romans 13:8,9
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing
debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.
